No, George Lucas isn’t re-editing the Star Wars movies again. Rod Hilton, a computer programmer who blogs “about stuff he cares about way too much,” has made his voice heard over the din of Star Wars complaining to suggest a new viewing order for the Star Wars saga.
His new order? IV, V, II, III, VI. Yes, he jettisons Episode I all together. But his logic is sound and the next time I sit down and revisit that galaxy far, far away . . . I’m going to have to do it “Machete Order,” as he calls it.
