Hold your index finger and thumb together so close that not even a strand of hair could pass between them. That’s how close we, as an audience, were to never seeing Toy Story 2.
Ever have the computer freeze up on you right before you saved your work? Ever discover your portable hard drive (the one you store all your projects on) become suddenly, inexplicably, and incurably corrupted? Ever just lose the floppy disc or USB drive you saved your files on? You don’t have to lose a multi-million dollar project to suddenly find yourself in the middle of your worst day ever. And Pixar very nearly had one of those days while working on Toy Story 2. But I’ll let them tell the harrowing story:
